I was a little burnt out, heart-sore, unsure and those three days changed that....
Sitting in my garden looking out into a gorgeous moonlit night, I am reminded of my retreat up in the Spanish mountains with Jessica and how good tonight feels and how good that little moment of time was. Life and events have a way of making you forget about you and what you are about and what really matters to you and in life. It really is a lot of hard work to keep remembering what these things are and to live a real, resonant and joyful life. There is fear procrastination, confusion and the ebbing slip slide of time. And we will regret it if we don’t seize today (not tomorrow, not next week, not when xyz happens but today) to understand again what makes us tick and what makes us truly happy. Jessica helped me with that. The memory of the retreat is a bubble of joy. The Spanish mountains the blue sky, the whitewashed villa and village, the place the people the food. Against that backdrop, she forced me to switch off my phone and spend three days on understanding what I was about and what I really truly wanted in life. I was a little burnt out, heart-sore, unsure and those three days changed that. The challenge ahead is to put in place what we agreed but knowing that Jessica is there to keep me on track and will support me to do that is, like the magical retreat, priceless.E.N Banking, Asia
